Death of a girl

My heart bleeds for the little girl..... Hundreds of people die every day in India, the second largest populated country in the world. But this one particular death will make every Indian bow their head in shame.

My heart bleeds for the little girl..... How could I trust the lines that I am listening for decades? Sare Jahan Se Acha Hindusthan Hamara……No. Never again I will able to sing this line with honesty.

My heart bleeds for the little girl.... I must confess, I will not be able to withstand the trauma and agony that has been experienced by the little girl. The incident itself is beyond my imagination.  It was cruelty at its ugliest form.

My heart bleeds for the little girl.... I am yet to find a word in the dictionary that can condole her parents. The mental agony they are going through cannot be described through some words.

My heart bleeds for the little girl.... I must say I feel pity for our politicians who make senseless comments. I don’t expect them to show any sympathy however my humble request to them is don’t bring your dirty linen and wash it in the public, it stinks.

My heart bleeds for the little girl.... If ever I was made a deciding authority then the one thing I would like to change is the working style of our Judiciary system. I feel the only solution to curtail crime in our society is a speedy trial and immediate sentencing.  If anyone who does a crime knows he will get punished within three months, he will give a second thought to his action. Appoint a thousand judges and clear all the backlogs of cases. Any case that comes up newly must be sentenced within three months of time. My first priority, if I become the deciding authority.

My heart bleeds for the little girl.... I don’t subscribe to channel mongers who desperately recommending public trial for criminals, especially rapists. We are a civilized nation. We can’t perform public beheadings and public hangings. After all punishment doesn’t mean taking a eye for an eye. Punishment must make the criminal regret their wrong doings. Give them maximum harsh punishment a human being can tolerate, but not death. Death is a simple punishment for any crime.  The agony doesn’t last, only a few seconds.

My heart bleeds for the little girl.... I don’t totally blame the Delhi police for the situation. I am saying this knowing the fact that the Delhi police are the most corrupted lot in our country.  Then our most corrupted politicians are also in Delhi. It is the interconnection between these power houses that make our capital most corrupted place in our country. It is also our capital of crime. Even if you escape from clutches of criminals you can’t escape from hitches of these power houses. Solution is only self conscious. Take care of yourself.

My heart bleeds for the little girl.... I am helpless. I am ashamed. I am dejected.  I know no one in the country who has the power to stop this kind of ugly crimes. It seems to me that the God is also helpless. My only pray to the God is, please stop these type of criminal-minded people taking birth in my country. Will you listen?
